Despite a dodgy weather forecast, class 4 set off for Arlington Court on Thursday morning for a day of outside art and den building.
Luckily it stayed dry and we were able to get out in the woods to look for different colours in nature and create our own ‘Bog Art’ creatures in the trees using natural clay from the grounds.
At lunch the sun came out and Will found an amazing catapillar…
Then it was the den building challenge. We had some impressive looking designs…
But the winning den had everything you’d need to stay comfortable in the wilderness including a coffee table, chairs and a crazy paving path!!
A big thanks to Rob and the National Trust team for a great day out, and to Mrs Spooner, Mrs Gibbs, Mrs Perry and Mrs Symons for coming to help.

Is that because of the clay figures and faces you all made? I thought they looked great. I haven’t been there since but I’m hoping they last and I can view them sometime! Thanks Beau!
I hope Rob, Stuart and the team get to read your comment. Thanks.
