Lundy is the most amazing place you will ever see. It has a lovely view of North Devon. It has lots of beautiful places to explore and you will see Seals, Dolphins, Porpoises, Puffins and lots of sea birds you will also see the light houses the Old light and the South light. The barn is the place that you will be staying in. For the people that like caves Mr T will let you see them all especially Bensons, the cave where the king put all of his slaves in there for no reason and bricked it up. You really have to go!
Lundy Island is one of the most beautiful places in the United Kingdom, and for me the BEST place I’ve ever been (and trust me, I’ve been to loads of places!)
For me, one of the best things about Lundy is the peacefulness, Lundy is VERY peaceful making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. Also, if you like to have long walks on the coast, Lundy is perfect for you. But the BEST bit about Lundy Island is the wildlife! Lundy has beautiful animals from Puffins to Dolphins and really it’s just the most AMAZING place in the whole world!
Take a walk around Lundy and go to the North Light. It has such a BEAUTIFUL view! But if taking long walks aren’t really your thing, maybe go to the old lighthouse! Even better, you can go inside the lighthouse and see the WHOLE of Lundy from up there!
The M.S Oldenburg goes to Lundy Island 3 days every week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays,) The M.S Oldenburg is a very exciting boat, and it’s very comfortable! The boat is a great place even if you get sea sick.
On Lundy Island there is a shop, a campsite, a castle, 3 lighthouses, a restaurant, a church and loads more amazing things!
Lundy is a really cool place and there are so many things to do.
The Barn is really nice and there are different things to do like play a board game or play in your bed. Every night you get a really lovely dinner.
You go on the pebble beach and have a stone skimming competition and stone stacking competition, which is fun.
After the beach you slowly walk up to the church by a little path. Then you go up to see the bells being rung – they were really loud. Also if you get the key you can go to the barn. After settling in you get to relax and then you go to the Old Light and you play a really cool game and treasure hunt.
When it gets dark you go to the Old Light again and make a Mexican wave. Eventually you walk back and have dinner and go to bed.
I want to tell you more but I don’t want to tell you all of it.
Lundy Island
If your looking for a relaxing holiday with clear blue sky (most of the time) and wild life lurking around every corner then lundy island is the place for you. You can see pigs, hairy cows, goats, butterflys, snails, slugs, seals and puffins and a lot more. There are three light houses that you can walk to the north light house on the other side of the island the old light house that is at the highest point of the island and then the south light house which is right next to the boat drop off. Lundy also has its own treasure hunt all around the island.
You should go to Lundy because it is really fun. No other place in Devon has puffins and pygmy shrews. It is a really quiet and calm place (until we get there)
Come to Lundy. You will ride on the Oldenburg and you can become a Lundy member. Travel under water to see Britain’s largest lobster. Seals and basking sharks won’t hurt you but they will fascinate you.
You’ll get to do lots of things like play a stone skimming competition, piling rocks and looking at great views.
You’ll do a letter box hunt which is really fun.
On the last day you go and look for the last boxes then eat at the Marico Tavern and do some art then walk to the boat. This is a good way to spend the last day of Lundy.

I’ve yet to see a basking shark… and being a diver too, I’d LOVE to find one of the lobsters! I’ll make do with snorkelling with the seals though 🙂
Maybe next time Mr T! 🙂
