Class 3 had some fun making real, sedimentary pebbles today! Igneous and metamorphic would be hugely difficult (and we've no resources at all to make those!) but we were successful with little sedimentary rocks.Sedimentary rocks are layers of... sediment. Apart from wet play interrupting our enjoyment outside, we all had a great day, learning lots. I thought I'd share a couple of photos - class 3 lying down and having a rest, and class 4 clearly having a lovely day tasting different breads. A brilliant day at Ilfracombe Pool for the North Devon Aquathlon. 20 children from our two junior classes... and they were fantastic! Plus, Bea won her year group! Class 3 have had a fantastic time this week on our our annual residential to St George's House. Monday we narrowly missed the torrential downpour to enjoy perfect sunshine on our rock scrambling around Baggy Point.
