Our children had a lovely time on their two residentials this week. I’d like to say thanks to all the staff who helped make them happen, as both the London and St. George’s House trips were really successfully and the children loved them and gained lots from the experience. I’m sure you’ve scrolled though our blogs and seen what we all got up to – there are many photos!
Our School Photographs were taken today. Prints can be ordered online, but if you prefer to hand the paper form back into the office please return this by next Friday 27th May.
Wednesday 25th – Parish Picnic straight after school at the park. We’ll walk the school children to the park at 3pm (weather depending) so that we’re there for our after-school pick-up. We’ll have a song or two and we’ll attempt our Maypole, before we hand the children over and you can play and have fun at the stalls that will be on their field.
Thursday 26th – Class 4 are heading to Croyde beach for the Volleyball festival with the BLCT schools on the 26th May.
Friday 27th is our breakfast morning at school… Come along from 8.15 am for a sausage bap, or a bacon roll, or a bacon and egg roll… and a coffee, tea, orange juice etc!
Thanks to Dan Craddock (The Rock) and Keri who have been busy organising this – we’ve not had one of these for over two years!
Friday 27th – Is also a non-uniform day where we’d love it if you could wear Red, White or Blue to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee!
Our lost property has doubled in size over the last week and the Truggs Tub is overflowing.
We’ve also noticed that Class 3, who have their own Lost Property tub, is also overflowing!
Please do make sure that items are labelled as we can’t pair them back if they’re not.
Our front doors are open between 8.45 and 8.55 with children doing learning activities as soon as they arrive. Sadly, the ones who arrive late at 9.00 am would have missed this, and the ones who are later can even miss the introduction to the next learning task.
Please aim to arrive for 8.45am
Please do look at the school menu before you leave home in the morning. Keri is unable to adjust the menu each day and it’s important that the children know what’s on offer and are happy to make choices in the morning.
