Bye Joe, we will miss you 😯

2022-08-18T13:27:15+01:00

Joe, our caretaker, is currently finishing his last day at Georgeham School and starting his well earned retirement. Over the past 9+ years Joe has been responsible for making our school the clean, tidy environment that we all love to be in. From fixing gates, changing bulbs and clearing up after a massive (messy) DT project....Joe has been the (often [...]

Governors’ Visioning, with crisps, dips and wine!

2022-08-18T13:27:15+01:00

Thanks for coming to the Governors' evening; it was a great evening's opportunity to bounce some ideas and get feedback! We talked about the work we've done in the background and tried to distil exactly what is it about our school that we really like, what we want to be and how we'd get there. We shared our work to [...]

Miss Smale's Family Group with stand-in Mrs Holbourn, had great fun learning all about the different ingredients that make a relationship. 2018-04-21T15:24:08+01:00

Today, class 4 have been learning about the composition and features of blood. So we made 'blood' with strawberries (red blood cells), mini marshmallows (white blood cells), sprinkles (platelets) and pineapple juice (plasma) we then blended it and drank it. Great fun....and don't be worried if your child came home saying that drank 'blood' yesterday đŸ˜‰

On Friday morning, Stepping Stones came in to visit class one. The class one children performed a song to Stepping Stones, and then we all made our own shaker instrument! We came back together at the end to play the song together and use our shakers! It was great fun! :)
