It was a bit more than just a Christmas Jumper Day, with tinsel and sparkly things everywhere! We saw Father Christmas at the start of the day in the helicopter and also at the end of the day where he made it down to my office and handed out presents to all the children! Thanks! Christmas lunch was a delight [...]

'It's beginning to look a lot like ........ 'retirement', everywhere we go! The countdown to Mrs Mortimer's final day has begun with a fantastic surprise of a beautiful, gluten-free celebration cake. Class 1 and Class 2 did their Royal Variety performance yesterday afternoon and Class 3 and Class 4 did their second show of Hoodwinked in the evening too. The children were amazing! They've worked out that crying mums is a sign of enjoyment and so that's now slowly become the aim of their performances, not just loud and clear voices, [...]
Normally taking place at the Village Hall, Stepping Stones Pre-school had their nativity at the school this year, taking over the hall for the morning: teas, coffees and cake at the back of the hall, lots of chairs and tables out for parents to relax with their mince pies, and then the children came through the doors and got 'on [...]
CRAZY CHRISTMAS CREATIONS! Festive Fun Tick, tock, tick, tock, DING A DING A DING! Yesterday, stalls ready? Yes! Elves ready? Yes! Games ready? Yes! Are we ready? Yes! We prepared for mayhem as the bell went to commence the Christmas Coffee Afternoon 2014. On that special day, children (and adults too) had been preparing crazy creations and festive fun [...]
