2022-08-18T13:27:07+01:00

Over the last couple of weeks we have been looking at rhythmic patterns. We created our own symbols - a circle showed one beat, a rectangle showed two beats and a triangle showed a 'rest'! 2020-01-16T16:17:35+00:00

Class 2 were learning how to write instructions. We had lots of fun finding out how to do it and came up with some great ideas… e.g. someone thought it was going to be a ‘catastrophe’ ‘dunking’ him into the warm, bubbly, fresh water but some children came up with a great idea of adding salt and ice. Eventually, we [...]

We needed to learn quickly how to protect her from the heat. We chose materials to wrap her in and created a fair test. We then made predictions about which one would be the winner. We had the Great Hall all to ourselves and practised our Knightly skills, including jousting and sword fighting. We learnt that a knight would start his apprenticeship at 7 years old! We saw all the [...]

We had a fantastic day yesterday! In the morning we harvested our potatoes, we then took them down to Keri who roasted them for us. They were so yummy, it was lovely to be able to eat the potatoes that we had grown ourselves! Next, we went up to the Nature Area for some forest school activities. We started off [...]
