This morning, reception went to Braunton Academy for Multi-Skills. They had a fantastic time practicing their balancing, racing over the hurdles and throwing and catching. This morning, Years 1 and 2 went to Isaac Hall for an Infant Music Festival. We were joined by Caen, Kingsacre, Marwood, Southmead and Braunton Academy. Class 3 had an awesome time on Friday making their own games using magnets to end our science unit about Forces and Magnets. I loved seeing all the determined expressions and smiles of the children. Wow! Every child at Georgeham travelled into spaced(dome) today. We found out so much in the Space Odyssey. Lots of gasps, smiles and amazing questions. Awesome 👨🚀👩🚀🚀
Open as normal, but we DO have heating issues at school. Only classes 2, 3 & 4 will probably have to keep extra jumpers on for the morning, but thankfully, classrooms do heat up with children's energy by midday! Today, we managed to get out and run across the playground with tortillas wraps on frying pans, to lots and lots of cheers and applause from the rest of the school. The last event in the 2019/20 league saw a reduced team of Kitty, Elfini and Presley battle windy and very muddy conditions at West Buckland School to complete their final cross country run of the league.
