This week pre school have been learning about Chinese New Year. We Know that red is a lucky colour and that this year will be the year of the rabbit. The children may well tell you how to say Happy new year in Chinese (kung hei fat choi) too!

Today in class 2, we have been improving our scientific observational skills and learning to identify mammals by their fur or hair... Can you guess what they are? We will look at the result next week when we consider the other common characteristics of mammals.

Apart from wet play interrupting our enjoyment outside, we all had a great day, learning lots. I thought I'd share a couple of photos - class 3 lying down and having a rest, and class 4 clearly having a lovely day tasting different breads.
