While the boys were having fun in their football tournament, class 4 finsihed off our Art project based on local artists Leanne Christie and Yvonne Coomber. I was so impressed with the skill and effort put in. Well done everybody!
The boys had a wonderful day at Kingsacre football festival today, they showed brilliant sportsmanship and class 3 came back with 3rd place over all in their age group. Well done Boys, you all represented the school beautifully and should be really proud. Thnak you to everyone who helped make it happen, espically our wonderful football coaches!
Class 3 had a great time at our St George's house residential at the beginning of the week. Despite a wet and windy start to the day, we were lucky when the weather cleared up after lunch and year 3 could head off for games at the beach while year 4 had fun with the archery and fencing.... [...]

This week we've been learning about magnetic materials. We've gone on 'magnet' hunts to find out which materials are magnetic. Today we had a competition - who can collect the most paperclips? Which magnet holds the most paperclips? Why do some magnets hold more than others?
Today, it was the Swimming Safety Tests for year 5s and also for some of the year 2s too. They all made excellent progress, and then had some fun at the end too! Thanks Tamsin, Wayne, Claire & Mark for helping out this term - it's VERY MUCH appreciated!
We have had a lovely day today enjoying our new class space! Thank you so so much to all of our helpers yesterday - we appreciate all of the time and effort you gave.
