Class 1 and Class 2 did their Royal Variety performance yesterday afternoon and Class 3 and Class 4 did their second show of Hoodwinked in the evening too. The children were amazing! The National Trust rangers came to school today armed with lots of lovely holly, berries, spruce twigs, teasels and silver spray to make up holly wreaths with classes one and two. We had a lovely morning making our Christmas decorations. Thank you to Rob and his team for helping us.
Well done to everyone who took part today. The improvements we made over the course of the four games was excellent. We didn't win but we had fun!!

Our raspberry canes have enjoyed the summer sunshine as well as the children - who all seem to have grown a few more inches over the summer break! Yesterday year 6 had their traditional leavers' lunch of a roast dinner, ice-cream and cupcakes! Even the children admitted they were full by the end, and made the sensible decision to wait (only about an hour) before tucking into a second round of home-made cakes supplied by Ruby!
