And the winner is……

2022-08-18T13:27:25+01:00

NOAH! The winning entry! Last term class 4 worked with No Sweat to design some equipment for an outdoor adventure. After lots of discussions in the staff room at No Sweat (they actually numbered every entry, put each one around the walls and asked everyone to vote) they decided that Noah's showed the most 'scientific thinking' as every [...]

James’ Dragon Map…

2022-08-18T13:27:25+01:00

James' Dragon Map - The actual name was a bit long (The Barbaric Map of The Viking Archipelago) but he decided to make it a bit shorter. The film 'How To Train Your Dragon 2' inspired me to make this map. It took me 3 weeks to finish: 1 week to plan, 1 week to tea-stain and wait for it to [...]

Class 4…I wonder who the winner will be?

2014-12-05T20:10:06+00:00

In Science this term class 4  have been considering how we can use our learning about materials to help us to design clothing and equipment for an outdoor adventure.  Today we brought all of these thoughts together and created our information posters that will be sent in to Pete at No Sweat Outdoors in Barnstaple so that he can choose [...]

FROGS’ crafts and cakes….

2022-08-18T13:27:25+01:00

Class 4 came along to the village hall this afternoon to sing a few of our Christmas songs towards the end of the FROGS' craft fair. Thomas even wanted to do a solo which then started something with all of them wanting to sing solos! Very happy children; managing to get some tears from the parents from the wonderful lyrics [...]

Some more dancing practice!

2014-11-24T21:27:44+00:00

Miss Hill videoed some more this afternoon and Miss Butters put them through their paces with the dancing (I think she sang along a little too!) Here they are so you can either dance along and have fun with us (we've heard you enjoy it) or practice in preparation for your role on stage in a couple of weeks! Have [...]

Anyone for a Dance?

2014-11-20T21:59:23+00:00

Class 4, and I think Class 3 too, will find these two videos useful for their upcoming play in December... Tess, I think playing these should be fine for your PC - they're on YouTube (unlisted and 'ungoogleable' too) and should be much quicker than what we uploaded earlier in the week. Happy practising!

It’s all about the taxes…

2014-11-20T16:59:17+00:00

Thanks Mrs Patterson - changed words to Jessie's J's song for Class 4's play. Here's Class 4 singing the changed words.  It's their first time, first run through, singing it from the sheets put in front of them right at the end of a busy day! I think you may have to turn it up (or use headphones) ... but [...]

Class 4-Children in Need

2014-11-14T15:52:00+00:00

In class 4 we have been thinking lots about Children in Need today. We thought about what Children in Need actually is and we came up with these thoughts: James: It is a great charity and we get dressed up in spots or fancy dress to help children who don’t have stuff like we do. Beau: Our money will help [...]
