So….how can you make blood?

2018-04-21T15:24:08+01:00

Today, class 4 have been learning about the composition and features of blood. So we made 'blood' with strawberries (red blood cells), mini marshmallows (white blood cells), sprinkles (platelets) and pineapple juice (plasma) we then blended it and drank it. Great fun....and don't be worried if your child came home saying that drank 'blood' yesterday 😉

2022-08-18T13:27:16+01:00

Spotlights, when we see and hear about a particular subject that's interesting to the year 6 child... a development from the Show & Tells in subsequent years... Today's Spotlight was from Max, and fortunately we could see the view of his VR Headset through our projector and hear through our sound system too. A few of us had fun on [...]

Georgeham won the Learning Community's Football Tournament! An amazing afternoon clawing back and working perfectly together showed that our small school really does play towards huge horizons, albeit muddy ones. Some amazing players and [...]

Spotlights have started…!

2018-02-22T00:14:23+00:00

We started off our year 6 spotlights amazingly well this week with Owen and Jonah's spotlights on Street Performance and Wild Camping. Spotlights are what the 'Show and Tells' develop into as our children grow and improve on their confidence and public speaking through the school.  This time, it's in front of the whole school, staff and some parents too.  [...]
