Caterpillars – day 7
staff2022-05-12T13:59:32+01:00Day 7 of watching the caterpillars grow! They're getting quite big now and they're starting to shed their skin. We've been watching them closely and sometimes it looks as though they're racing each other as they whizz around the cup!
Baby ducklings and caterpillars!
staff2022-05-04T16:21:52+01:00Thank you so much to Ernest and Hubie who brought in their little ducklings for us to see today! They are super cute and they've been visited by almost all of the school throughout the day! We've read the story 'The Ugly Duckling', learnt about the life cycle of ducks and some of the children even chose to read to [...]

staff2022-08-18T13:26:52+01:00How did we get to their final term here? It's been a busy week of finding photos of the Year 6s when they were tiny for their leavers photobook, which wouldn't be complete without one last group photo on the climber!

We even persuaded Mr Thomas to eat (no, drink, urm no, eat) one. 😋 yum

I have been at Georgeham for 14 years and I have loved teaching so many children during this time, many who I still see in the village. I do plan to come into school on a regular basis [...]
Infant Music Festival
staff2022-08-18T13:26:52+01:00After a slight hiccup, Class 2 arrived at the Infant Music Festival in Braunton. We were first up with our song "Number Bus" in front of hundreds of people! The children were amazing and sang so loudly despite being the smallest school there. Our two soloists did a fantastic job in front of everyone! It was lovely listening to the [...]
The Great Class 3 Bake Off!
staff2022-04-06T21:54:19+01:00Class 3 had a great day baking our Egyptian flat breads today. The children came up with some really imaginative flavour combinations - some were very hot and spicy - and our celebrity judge, Keri, said it was the best set of flatbreads she had seen in her 8 years as resident chef - praise indeed! It was a tense [...]
