We had a very interesting morning spent at Christchurch in Braunton.  Lots of organisation involved in getting children to and from Braunton (roadworks, resurfacing and lots of tourists too it seemed!) but what a morning!

The church hall was transformed into separate areas each depicting a different stage in Jesus’ life.  The children were able to hear stories, listen to the sounds, touch artifacts and even smell the smells that would have been around at the time.  (They washed their hands after stroking the fish!)

“It was amazing!”
“What a fantastic morning!”
“We were crammed into the tomb!”
“I don’t believe in any of that… but I liked the stories!”

To sum up – children and adults alike loved their morning session!
