We had our first science club this afternoon for classes 1 and 2! Magnets, string telephones, electrical circuits, picking up breakfast cereal with a balloon using static electricity (“a bit like a soft magnet ”-Annie), chemical reactions and more! We even managed to find out that an apple can power a clock better than a courgette can! What a busy hour! Everyone who came along today was brilliant and I really liked the science book that Samuel brought in from home, lots of ideas we can try out!
A big thank you to my brilliant class 4 helpers; Sam, Lottie, James and Tallis!
Hi miss Summerville mum and dad said it’s fine to help out with science club.
Mum said if it’s ok if amione and Harlee come to science club on Friday I’m not shore if you have to sine up or not.
Hi Georgia, that is great that you can help out in one of the sessions. We have already got the volunteers for next Friday but I’ll definitely put you down for the next one we do! I’m afraid the science club is full now for classes 1 and 2, but I’ll put Harlee and Amione’s names down on the waiting list if a place becomes available. I’ll talk to you (and your Mum) on Monday and see if we can sort out a Friday that you would be able to come and help.
Have a good weekend!
Thank you miss summerville
