Georgeham’s intrepid cross country runners braved a muddy and wet course on Sunday to complete round two of the Gliddon and Squire Cross Country League.  This time we had two full teams.  Jasper, Presley and Jet ran for the under 9’s and Martha, Kitty and Elfini represented the under 11s.

The sun came out to brighten the morning and the kids all had huge fun in the mud.  The boys and Martha ran their socks off (almost literally) whilst Kitty and Elfini showed true team spirit in helping each other and stopping to help one of the girls at the back who was struggling to breathe on the hills.

Another great X Country meet – if anyone else wants to join in the fun let us know as there are tons of schools and kids taking part.
