Year 4 and 5 represented Georgeham School in a predominantly Year 6 competition of Volley Sport – slightly different rules to that of Volleyball.
Denise giving instructions for the day.
A brilliant day, if not slightly too hot, for the Primary School VolleySport Competition.
We had some younger children with us but I was so impressed with the teamwork and the speed the children picked up the volleyball and refereeing skills!
- Beau Betteridge was chosen as the referee for the Junior final.
- Sam was heard saying, “We’re not working well as a team James. I’m shouting at you too much and we need to do better this afternoon.”
[I loved that one!]
“Bibi was worried to start with,” Daisy told me, “but she did really well and won the second division!”
…and they cheered and shook hands with those who lost as well as those who won.
Proud of Georgeham – well done kids!
Well done to year 4 and 5! It certainly does sound like you did everyone proud today with your team spirit! 🙂
