We have been learning about traditions in different countries and how different people celebrate special times.

To begin our Chinese New Year celebration, we learnt that the families will tidy their houses to clean away any bad luck. After that, they will decorate with red and gold decorations as a symbol of good luck.

So, we did the same to our classroom!

We wiped down the surfaces, we hoovered the floor…and then we hung decorations. Some of us decided to even make our own!
