Our word of the week is ‘sinking’, we’ve been investigating in the water tray which objects sink to the bottom.

‘I wonder…does a conker sink or float?’
We found that one conker sank to the bottom…and one conker floated. We discovered that a good conker would sink and a bad conker would float.

We sorted them into groups – bad conkers and good conkers!
