We are Ambitious.
We have the highest expectations for all our children and teachers.
In return, we give everyone in our school as many opportunities as we can to fulfil their potential in the widest possible sense.

Please see our Attendance Policy for further details of how attendance is really important.
Thank you to Georgeham & Croyde Parish Council for the Jubillee mugs. The children were really pleased to receive them for their hot chocolate. They also received a Queen Elizabeth book and book mark, one for every family from the DFE.
Next week is looking like a scorcher! Please ensure your child has plenty of suncream and a hat to wear. We’re happy to relax the uniform policy on Monday. Cool, loose clothing, or PE kit will be ideal. We will endeavour to keep doors and windows open and will close blinds before the midday sun hits them. We will have water jugs available, but please remember water bottles too.
We would like to put up some gazebos on the field, if any parents are available to assist with this, please let us know or just call into the office early on Monday morning. Thank you
The bike ride is planned for Wednesday and the forecast is looking cooler. Please ensure your bikes are in prime condition with tyres pumped and chains checked. Lunches has been order with Keri and are available to pay for on Scopay.
With the end of term fast approaching please could scopay accounts be settled in full.

Dates for the diary…
Whole School bike ride. Changed date of Wednesday 20th. This is an opportunity for children to learn how to ride bikes and have a biking themed day at school, or challenge themselves to ride to Rock Park, Fremington or Bideford, and back, all heading from Tescos in Braunton. We’ve not done this for a few years and we hope it’ll be a great event as it’s always been!
For this to work well, we’d like family members to take part and help if and where they can – we really appreciate this, thank you. It is also, certainly, a ‘wear-a-helmet’ event too!
Our Summer Fair is the same week! Friday 22nd July, straight after school. FROGS are already working in the background for this – thanks everyone!
That leaves the final thing being the Leavers’ Assembly at 2pm on our last day; Tuesday 26th July.
Our front doors are open between 8.45 and 8.55 with children doing learning activities as soon as they arrive. Sadly, the ones who arrive late at 9.00 am would have missed this, and the ones who are later can even miss the introduction to the next learning task.
Please aim to arrive for 8.45am
Please do look at the school menu before you leave home in the morning. Keri is unable to adjust the menu each day and it’s important that the children know what’s on offer and are happy to make choices in the morning.
We are Ambitious.
