Dear parents,

Following advice from Devon County Council, and working in partnership with the other BLCT schools, we have made the difficult decision to shut the school tomorrow.

The risk assessment of our school site, and the journeys our families make, has highlighted a number of hazards which could cause harm to an adult or child and we have very limited means to mitigate against these.

I am sorry that we are ending the half term in this way but the safety of the children, their families and of course the staff, must always be our priority.

I wish you a very happy half term break and look forward to welcoming you all back to school on Tuesday 1st March.
