Whereas most parents would’ve collapsed on the sofa with a cuppa at 9.20am, or gone for a peaceful walk on the beach this morning, all of us at school had an extremely busy and noisy time catching up with each other…. and it was lovely!

It was an industrious day and the children did lots: they thought hard about what they were thankful for; What they loved about being back at school; what rules and routines they needed to remember about the classroom and school day; the strategies they use to work out problems when they’re stuck… but also, they had tonnes of fun running around with their friends!

We were all so busy, I only took a few photos!
