We wrote this on the newsletter too, but here’s a reminder that it’s tonight that our school will have a small spot on BBC spotlight – Jet and Isla talking about Mike stocks’ new Christmas song, New Born King, and our year 4s singing a little bit of it.  Spotlight also interviewed Jet’s Dad, Mike and Teachers Rock founder, Debbie Kent.

Teachers Rock is a choir for school staff and its core purpose is to inspire and empower children.  We sung the song in Exeter Cathedral last week and straight after Spotlight, at 7pm tonight, we’ll be playing our recording on the Teachers Rock You Tube channel.  I can honestly say it’s worth clicking the link at 7pm, or anytime afterwards, to hear Mike’s lovely song, Debbie’s arrangements of it and to get you in a lovely Christmas mood.

We’ll also be logging in on Wednesday at 1.30pm for another live link, where Debbie Kent will be showing what the 9000 registered children have done with the song – whether they’ve sung it, danced to it, or used it for inspiration for art work…
