If you’ve not heard of our epic plastic-free journey (where have you been?!) we were recently shortlisted for the Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free Awards… School’s Award.

Our category was a tough one and the judges were split. Congratulations however to Damers First School in Poole who won the award after taking their campaign to Westminster.

Tonight was a great opportunity to sit with the other two schools, talk shop and swap strategies. We all agreed, not only on our passion for the environment, but of our drive, and love, of seeing the children motivated in this project. So much so, that we just HAD to go and talk to Caitlin & Ella McEwan, the MacDonalds’ toy busters!

I’m telling you – we rubbed shoulders with big names tonight, and we’re SO proud of Team Georgeham!
