Class 1 and 2 had a great day at the beach on Thursday! We had a long walk from the school to Putsborough beach. First, we made sandcastles and had a kick around with the football. Before we had our lunch we went to explore the rock pools. We found; crabs, jellyfish and coral!

After lunch, we had our sandcastle competition. All of the children worked so well as a team to build the best sandcastle! Reception and Year 1 then walked to the top of the hill for an ice-cream before making our way back to school.

Year 2 stayed on the beach for some more games before they came back to school for their sleepover! We had a BBQ on the field, took part in Year 2’s Got Talent and watched The Gruffalo before we went off to bed.
