The weather isn’t great for our pancake race on Tuesday, so we’re going to wind up them ready for the day itself by doing it today. You don’t need to do anything to be ready – we just take Family Groups out to the playground after playtime and set them off running, and flipping. Yep, you may have heard we use wraps instead – they cope with the mutliple drops that happen!

We also have World Book Day on Thursday. We hope you’ve not had a stressful weekend working hard making a costume, as it’s all optional. Thursday will be a non-uniform day and you can dress up if you’d like (well, your child can. You can too if you’d like – what a conversation starter on the playground that’d be) but we also ask if your child could bring their favourite book to read and share on Thursday. We also thought it would be nice if you could bring any good quality books in to school that we could boost our Library shelves with.

Looking at the diary, we also have Devon Libraries in on Wednesday working with some of our classes Classes and a materials workshop on Friday too. Another busy week!
