In preparation for their work on conservation and dunes, and their trip on Monday, Class 4 made some dunes today! Embry, foredune, yellow and mature dunes all represented by Modroc models... they'll possibly add further features to these models after the trip. Look out for that blog after Monday's trip!
Class 2 have been busy planting up the school Veg Garden. They did a great job and we are all looking forward to watching the plants grow (Slugs permitting!) A big thank you for the seeds and plants that the children brought in and to Wyvale Garden Centre for the veg donations.
Class 2 were lucky enough to be invited to the opening ceremony of Croyde's new Playpark. They had a fantastic time and we were all so impressed with the beautifully designed and made equipment.
As part of our science unit, class 4 planned and led PE activities for class 3 to increase heart rate and promote the importance of exercise in a healthy lifestyle . Great co-operation and support seen all over the field 😀

Georgeham's intrepid team of three (Amias, Sam and Fred) were hugely enthusiastic and quick to pick up the skills of bowls. Class 3 had a great day visiting Cheddar man (who is 10,000 years old) today. We walked through Gough's cave which was inhabited by Cheddar man and his people over 10,000 years ago and learnt that its constant air temperature of 11 degrees made it a great place to live when winter temperatures at that time in Britain could reach [...]
