In phonics this week we have been focusing on our formation and ensuring we are taking time with each letter that we write. After lots of practice, these are some lovely examples of our hard work!

In music we have been looking at making different rhythms and counting the beats. After our music lesson today, three of our year 1s decided to make their own band and practiced in the outdoor area!

In maths we have started looking at teen numbers and working on our number recognition. We have also been looking at adding and subtracting in a variety of ways.

I have to say a ‘super well done’ to all of the year 1s – they have been working so hard on their number bonds, and really made us proud this week.
