A big well done to Joel, Archie, Micah and Dante who represented Georgeham in the team tennis tournament at Tarka Tennis today. It's lovely to have our parents come and have a look around the school, seeing their children active and learning and finding out how the classroom works, rather than hearing about it, or not (!), over the dinner table. Thanks for coming! ...And a perfect opportunity to spread out lost property out, and offer the use of our Sharpie Pen!
Tony and Dan came back and said that the girls, "represented the school well"... keeping it quiet so that the girls would be able to return to school and share the EXCELLENT NEWS that THEY WON! Today we read the story 'Have you filled a bucket today?' It says that we all have imaginary buckets that are filled with people's kindness. So...does increasing the length of the wire make a bulb brighter or dimmer? What about adding more bulbs or adding a motor to the circuit? Does that alter the brightness? We spent this afternoon finding out about this and more. We then used symbols to represent our findings with scientific circuit diagrams 😀
