We loved meeting our new Reception children and welcoming them to Georgeham School. We have had a great morning and both the Reception and Year 1 children were very well behaved! What a great start to the year! 🙂

In the morning we looked around the school, met Mr Thomas, had a dance in Wake and Shake, played in our new Farm Shop, practised our numbers and EVEN did some writing!! All of the Reception children wrote their name and posted it in our post box. Tomorrow our special teddy is going to pick out a name and spend the whole morning with that child!
The Year 1 children were absolutely fabulous today. They have worked hard by doing some writing in their books and also some super sentences which they also posted through our post box. Another special teddy in the class is going to choose a super sentence writer to spend the day with tomorrow!
Well done to all of the children for starting off the year so well!
