We had a fantastic day at school today! We had a visit from the author, Victoria Eveleigh, who came in to talk to us about writing books and making your characters believable. We also spent the day dressed as our favourite character from a book. Thank you to all the Mums and Dads who put in a lot of effort [...]

Class 1 had a very special treat this morning, a visit from Paddington Bear! We have been reading 'Paddington at the Palace' and he thought he would drop in to pay us a visit in person. Each one of us held Paddington when it was our turn to retell part of the story, so he got to know us all [...]

2015-02-26T19:10:27+00:00

We had fun this afternoon investigating which material would keep the ice-pop frozen for the longest! I hope everyone has now got their ice-pop in the freezer and has predicted how long it will take to re-freeze!

Class 4 recycled projects

2015-02-26T11:26:23+00:00

Class 4 did recycled items for their projects. I had the pleasure of seeing three of them this morning. Carpet tiles and corner yogurts and a shreddies box... all made Daisy's recycled house. Including a bean bag from her old socks! "I really liked how you've gone to different places to collect things for it!" said Thomas "It's epic!" said [...]

Family D.I.S.C.O.

2015-02-12T22:08:35+00:00

This evening our disco had a lovely family feel with children and parents enjoying the opportunity to have a drink, a chat and (in some cases) a bit of a dance! Whilst the hall was once again the main stage for the music action (great DJ-ing skills Emma Trueman :-) ), class 4 became more of a'chill out' room with [...]
