Our first Open The Book assembly, quite appropriately for the start of the year and our SEAL theme of New Beginnings, was about Genesis and the new start.

We had a quiet moment thinking about the beautiful things that we’d seen recently (maybe a lovely sunset or gorgeous surf) and also an opportunity to think about people who needed help, struggling with something new.

I hope the young Reception children have had a lovely week this week… (Even fuller next week!)
