I send Well Done postcards quite often (I have a weekly reminder on my diary but I may not be that frequent!) and unlike Star of The Week nominations and Awards, they are quiet surprises that just turn up on the doorstep.

Yesterday, I was really quite taken by the attitude to work shown by two children. Not only did they want to know how they did with their work, they really took interest in feedback, making a concerned effort to improve their work to make it better – they were proud of what they had done but wanted to know how to be better still. Ooh, don’t you just love the persistence of learning?!
