This morning class 4 headed off to PETROC for the last part of our science week to see the importance of science in somewhat unexpected places. Who would have thought that making the perfect ice cream was such a precise science? 🙂
There were four workshops this morning; motor mechanics, animal care, engineering and catering. The children were able to do two of them.
So after a very busy morning I am hoping that the children will now know enough to fix my car when it breaks down and that I’ve discovered that ice cream is educational…..well that’s what I’m telling myself whilst typing this blog post and eating a magnum! 😉
We make lots of meringues, so have had a bit of practise at separating eggs! Today was Maisy’s favourite day of the week. 🙂
Great week at science week. They really enjoyed it …
