Sean’s update letter

Below, is also my email from Jon Skinner who set up Challenge Ministries Swaziland.

It’s lovely to hear how our money is being spent and the good stuff the charity does.

Dear Julian,
During my recent trip to Swaziland, checking on the progress of our orphan care programme and communicating with our children the growing support we have from the UK, I’m very pleased to be able to provide you with a letter from Sean.
At Challenge Ministries we are faced with a huge crisis: as one of the world’s poorest countries, with the world’s highest HIV/AID’s rate and at 33 years – the expected life span of a Swazi – our country’s children face a bleak future. BUT,with your support you are providing our children with:
  • ·         a caring and safe Christian environment to grow in self-confidence and social skills;
  • ·         personal attention, guidance and love;
  • ·         an ability to voice opinions and be heard; and above all
  • ·         – a life!
Your love and support is an essential part of sponsorship. It means so much for our children to know that someone on the other side of the world is thinking of them and praying for them.
