Our aim is to share our amazing learning adventure in Class 2 with family and friends around the world. It has been proved that children can improve their writing through blogging, as they have a real audience to write for.
The children are learning about Internet safety and when they post comments, their teachers will be administrators.
No posts or comments will be published without an administrator checking it first. When they write a comment at home, it is important not to correct all their spellings as the children are encouraged to start editing and improving their own work, rather than relying on adults to correct it for them. This will also be part of their ICT curriculum over the coming months.
Just a Few Good Blogging Guidelines:
Only use your first name – no surnames
Keep safe – don’t reveal personal information
Write in good English including grammar and punctuation
Be polite, be careful not to post anything that could upset anyone
Always be respectful and positive
Make sure it is your own work, don’t copy from other sites
Parents/family/friends that leave comments, are asked to use their first name only so as not to identify their child, or post comments as ‘…’s Mum’ or ‘….’s Nan’
All posts and comments are checked before they are published!
Have fun blogging and thank-you 🙂
